PLEASE NOTE: After submitting this sign-up, you’ll receive an email from the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce titled “Sign-up Confirmation for Fall Wine Walk 2024.” We'll send another follow-up email prior to the event with more information regarding your volunteer role(s).

Volunteer Check-in on Event Day:


Set-up Volunteers Only: Check in with Nicole, Chamber Operations Coordinator (cell: 650-564-3791), at the Los Gatos Chamber Office at 10 Station Way You'll get your shift to-do's from her. Check out with Nathan Pendleton, our Lead Volunteer Liaison (cell: 408-348-1078) at the Automobuild Breezeway at 100 N. Santa Cruz Ave.


All Other Volunteers: Regardless of where you'll be stationed, please check in and check out with Nathan Pendleton, our Lead Volunteer Liaison (cell: 408-348-1078) at the Automobuild Breezeway at 100 N. Santa Cruz Ave. You'll get your shift to-do's from him.

Wine Walk Volunteer Roles

  • Help with delivering materials to Wine Walk pouring locations, organizing registration materials, general event prep.

  • Before the event begins, the Set Up shift requires the capability of loading gear (some heavy) into cars and wagon, driving and then unloading items to different areas in town, along N. Santa Cruz, University and W. Main streets. Includes placement of A-frame signage around downtown and deliveries to VIP Experience venue, Automobuild Breezeway, & Old Town sites. Assembly/placement of banners, metal framed event signage, stanchions, cases of water to Old Town and Automobuild.

  • Movement of check-in table materials (incl glassware, programs, wristbands) from Chamber office to two sites: first at Automobuild breezeway and 2nd to Old Town. Assembly of rental tables, linens, 1 pop up tent at Old Town, umbrellas, set up of wine glasses, signage, etc.

  • At the close of the VIP Experience (4pm) and General Admission (5pm), Tear down shift requires the capability of moving large, heavier items from different areas along N. Santa Cruz, University, Main Streets, the Check-in Stations, and VIP Experience at Gardenia. Along with disassembling of banners, signage, rental furniture, stanchions, and delivering registration materials and equipment back to Chamber office.

  • Movement of VIP swag bags, sponsor flags, signage and large Alhambra water jugs to VIP venue (Gardenia at 115 N. Santa Cruz). Onsite set-up of chairs, rental tables, linens. Staking of 6 large sponsor flags in grass along N. Santa Cruz fence. Filling of ice tubs, placement of floral arrangements and table signage.

  • Station Opens for attendee Check In at 11:30am - Tasks: Using Eventbrite Organizer app, Check in attendees, Affix wristbands, Check ID's to ensure guests are over 21, Distribute a glass & map to each wrist banded participant, answer questions, provide friendly customer service, upsell tickets to VIP, breakdown boxes and recycle. Must be 21+

  • Station Opens for attendee Check In at 12pm Tasks: Using Eventbrite Organizer App, Check in attendees, Affix wristbands, Check ID's to ensure guests are over 21, Distribute a glass & map to each wrist banded participant., answer questions, provide friendly customer service, Breakdown boxes and recycle. Must be 21+

  • Second Shift - Tasks: Using Eventbrite Organizer app, Check in attendees, Affix wristbands, Check ID's to ensure guests are over 21, Distribute a glass & map to each wrist banded participant, answer questions, provide friendly customer service, upsell tickets to VIP, breakdown boxes and recycle. Must be 21+

  • Second Shift Tasks: Using Eventbrite Organizer App, Check in attendees, Affix wristbands, Check ID's to ensure guests are over 21, Distribute a glass & map to each wrist banded participant., answer questions, provide friendly customer service. Breakdown boxes and recycle. At around 3:45pm close down station, support breakdown and move essentials back to Chamber office. Must be 21+

  • 3rd and Final Shift Tasks: Using Eventbrite Organizer App, Check in attendees, Affix wristbands, Check ID's to ensure guests are over 21, Distribute a glass & map to each wrist banded participant., answer questions, provide friendly customer service. Breakdown boxes and recycle. At 4:30pm close down station and move supplies back to Chamber. Must be 21+

  • Assist all event volunteers with checking in and out of their shifts, providing orientation & guidance, then assisting with any check-in duties as needed. Wine Walk volunteer experience preferred.

Personal Info

In return for being allowed to participate in Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce volunteer activities and all related activities, including any activities incidental to such participation (“Volunteer Activities”), the undersigned Volunteer or Parent/Legal Guardian of Volunteer if Volunteer is under age 18 (hereafter referred to using “I”, “me”, or “my”) releases and agrees not to sue the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce or its officers, directors, employees, sub-contractors, sponsors, agents and affiliates (“the Foundation”) from all present and future claims that may be made by me, my family, estate, heirs, or assigns for property damage, personal injury, or wrongful death arising as a result of my participation in the Volunteer Activities wherever, whenever, or however the same may occur.

I understand and agree that the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce is not responsible for any injury or property damage arising out of the Volunteer Activities, even if caused by their ordinary negligence or otherwise.

I understand that participation in Volunteer Activities involves certain risks, including, but not limited to, serious injury and death. I am voluntarily participating in the Volunteer Activities with knowledge of the danger involved and I agree to accept all risks of participation.

I also agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce for all claims arising out of my participation in the Volunteer Activities.

I understand that this document is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the state in which the Volunteer Activities take place and agree that if any portion of this Agreement is invalid, the remainder will continue in full legal force and effect.

I also acknowledge that the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce has not arranged and does not carry any insurance of any kind for my benefit or that of Volunteer (if Volunteer is under 18), my parents, guardians, trustees, heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns.

I represent that, to my knowledge, I am in good health and suffer no physical impairment that would or should prevent my participation in Volunteer Activities.

I also understand that this document is a contract that grants certain rights to and eliminates the liability of the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce.
